Get a Grill is not a corporation with a call centre. When you call, you get Bruno — and he is probably standing next to a smoker.
How this started
Bruno is from Brazil, Amanda from Honduras. Grilling was a constant in Bruno’s family — not in Amanda’s. In Brazil, churrasco is not a cooking style — it is the reason everybody comes over on Saturday. That was the thing missing after we moved to Germany.
So we started grilling for friends. Then for neighbours. Then we bought equipment that is frankly too big for one household — a pellet smoker, a kamado, a Japanese shichirin — because we wanted to know what each design can really do.
And then the actual point became obvious: almost everyone who ate with us wanted one of these. Almost nobody wanted to spend 2,000 € and then find space for it eleven months a year. That is where Get a Grill starts. Since May 2025 we rent out the equipment we use ourselves — delivered, explained, collected again.
What we hold to
Charcoal and wood only
We do not rent gas grills. Not out of stubbornness, but because smoke is an ingredient. We explain why in detail.
Honest recommendations
We recommend the equipment that fits your evening, not the most expensive one. Often that means a smaller one.
Handed over clean
Every unit is cleaned and checked by us. You never get something we would not use ourselves.
Reachable
You can call us during your rental. Saturdays included. Including when the brisket is behaving strangely.
